This role manages end-to-end recruitment for numerous positions across various industries. As a key addition to the recruitment portfolio within an established HR consultancy, you will be responsible for everything from administration to client relationship management. This is an ideal role for a consultant who is comfortable working independently and wants to play a fundamental part in building a growing business portfolio.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships to understand client recruitment needs and team cultures.
Collaborate with clients to define job specifications, qualifications, and competencies.
Guide selection decisions that align with company values and build employer branding.
Act as the primary, dependable point of contact for all recruitment-related inquiries.
Recruitment Process Management
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: research platforms, draft specifications, and post jobs.
Execute candidate sourcing strategies beyond traditional methods.
Handle screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, and candidate negotiations.
Ensure a high standard of candidate experience and a smooth transition to onboarding.
Market & Industry Expertise
Leverage recruitment experience in sectors such as Petrochemical, Engineering, Retail, PR, Hospitality, and AgTech.
Stay informed on industry trends, salary brackets, and talent landscapes through market research.
Network and attend industry events to expand professional connections.
Experience: At least 4 years of experience in a similar recruitment role.
Education: A qualification in Human Resources is advantageous.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas is highly beneficial.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Suites, Workable (or similar ATS), LinkedIn, Canva, and project tools like Asana or ClickUp.
Logistics: Must be based in Cape Town with a valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
Core Competencies: Ability to work independently with high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
